Somewhat impressive for a Negroid film but 56 million dollars suggests about seven million people went to see the movie. Less than ten million people will watch this in a movie theater. The same eight million or so Negroid youth that went to see the movie in solidarity with whatever they think the movie stands for will be the same who are responsible for future ticket sales, revenue for merchandise, DVD and Blu ray sales, digital sales etcĪnd no. Just like how this movie had very few white people going to it. When you looked at the actual number of sales it was in the inner city and it was 95% blacks buying this crap.
The record sales were not that great but a lot of blacks would insist that it was white teenagers that bought the Negroid music. The problem with black movies is that, despite what black people like to claim, the audience is mainly black.īack in the nineties when MTV and other music outlets spent countless thousands of dollars forcing this crap onto the television screen, there were complaints about how it was violent and misogynist. You could argue that and certainly this movie has done better than most black movies. This means expect more of this garbage in the future. If they spent 50 million to make it, they are already making money on their investment. This does not include future ticket sales, revenue for merchandise, DVD and Blu ray sales, digital sales etc.
Unfortunately 56 million is only the opening box office gross.
